School life is usually really boring and tiresome. You have tons of home works, activities, and presentations to do, lessons and syllabuses to study and memorize, and of course, waking up early every day just to go to school. That boring and tiresome outline is the reason why most, if not, all, students hate school. Fortunately, some things make school life bearable, like friends, school fights, cutting classes, last-minute studying, and get-togethers you have with your friends. When you are a senior, the one thing you have in mind is to get out of this hell hole. But what most seniors wish when they graduate is for time to go back again.

Friends are the reason why going through years of tiring and boring studying was possible. Realizing that you are separating ways from your friends is really scary, but it is a stage everyone has to go through. So before you graduate from college, you must learn a few things, especially since your friends won't always be there to help you. The good thing is like in school; there are tricks you can use in life, like using resume templates and online maps.

How to write a resume

Before you graduate school, you must already have background knowledge about resumes. You must at least try making a sample or pretend resume. When you look for a job after you graduate, you won't have a teacher who will check your output and correct you if you have a mistake, you are on your own. Using templates is always an option, but you must still at least know the basics.

How to sew

Sewing is one of the life skills you should learn. Asking a professional to sew your clothes will not always be an available option. You will never know when the buttons on your polo pop off or when you rip your pants. So you must at least know the basics. It doesn't have to be really good but at least decent enough to fix minor problems with your clothes and discreet enough.

Take notes effectively

Before you graduate, you must learn how to take notes effectively because even when you leave school, this will still be useful in jobs. Note-taking differs for everybody, so try researching and following note-taking techniques online to find your own way and style. Observe your performance in studying and tests. If the results are good and your studying is easier, then you are doing it correctly.

Everything about credit cards

You must learn how to get a credit card, the legal documents and processes you must follow, and of course, how to use your credit card wisely. Getting a credit card involves submitting and signing legal documents and going through different processes. You must learn the basics, the rules, and your rights to avoid getting scammed. A credit card will be handy even as a student, so be sure to learn the basics of getting and owning one.

How to set appointments

Most of the time, when we are sick or need a check-up, our moms set the appointments for us. But before you graduate, or even before you reach college, you must learn how to set doctor's appointments. Whether it is for your dentist or physician, you must know who to contact, how to contact them, what to say, and what information you must prepare.

Use public transportation

Using public transportation should be a basic skill. Even if you have a car, you must know how to use public transport because you'll never know when you'll need it. If you are unfamiliar with the streets and landmarks, you can always use online maps to help you.

Do your makeup

If you are a girl, knowing how to do your makeup is very important if you are a girl because, in job interviews, makeups are a must. You should know how to wear formal makeup for job interviews and meetings and a natural look for your everyday job. Even before you graduate, learning how to use makeup appropriately is already useful since you will need to look presentable during presentations and defenses.
