It may also be made using other types of milk such as almond milk, coconut milk, or soy milk.

They became a common part of youth popular culture, as ice cream shops were a culturally acceptable meeting place for youth, and milkshakes became symbolic of the innocence of youth.

Strawberry Oreo Milkshake

For a classic taste, you can never go wrong with The combination of strawberry and Oreo. I love the idea of a strawberry Oreo milkshake for Valentine’s day. While you can make an Oreo milkshake with strawberry ice cream, you can also try it with vanilla ice cream or frozen bananas.

Ingredients

  • Some Oreo cookies, divided
  • Chocolate syrup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups strawberry ice cream, softened
  • Fresh strawberries

Instructions

  • Chill glasses in the freezer for 5–10 minutes to keep your milkshake from melting quickly.
  • Drizzle chocolate syrup into the glasses.
  • Using a knife or food processor, chop up Oreos and set them aside.
  • Add strawberry ice cream to the blender.
  • Add Oreo cookies to the blender.
  • Add the milk to the blender and blend ingredients until the Oreos completely mixed with the milk and ice cream.

Dates Milkshake

You need only four ingredients to make this delicious dates milkshake recipe. Whole milk, dates, ice cream and walnuts or pistachios. Add ice cream, dates, and pinch of cinnamon to a blender and blend until creamy and smooth.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup vanilla ice cream
  • 6 medjool dates, coarsely chopped
  • 2 tablespoon raw walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  • Wash the dates first to clean them off of any dirt particles and then dry them.
  • Remove their seeds from inside.
  • Blend all ingredients together until smooth.
  • Pour into a glass and drizzle with honey and garnish with walnuts (optional)

Pomegranate Milkshake

This is a very healthy and delicious milkshake or smoothie prepared using pomegranates, milk and chia seeds. It is loaded with omega-3 fatty acids, fiber and antioxidants. This delicious and refreshing smoothie with chia seeds makes a light breakfast or a snack. Today we will learn how to make pomegranate milkshake following this easy recipe:

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pomegranate seeds (1 medium-sized pomegranate)
  • 2 cups chilled milk
  • 2 tbsp sugar (or as per taste)

Instructions

  • Cut the pomegranate and remove the seeds in a bowl. Discard the inner white membranes of the pomegranate.
  • Place the pomegranate seeds in a blender and pulse it a few times to allow the juice to get released from the seeds. Don’t blend it too long otherwise the juice would turn bitter.
  • Strain the juice and discard the seeds.
  • Add milk and sugar to the extracted pomegranate juice and again blend it.
  • Transfer the milkshake to serving glasses.
  • Pomegranate milkshake is ready to be served.
